No shelter building. Just a network of loving homes, and a belief that every dog deserves a chance.

Pitiful Paws is a volunteer and foster based dog rescue organization. Its 2014 mission focused on dogs in difficult situations, dogs in bad shape and in need of medical care, and strays in need.

The site described a 501c3 nonprofit working to rehabilitate dogs physically and emotionally before helping them find forever homes.
